build and build keycaps

traditionally, the best Web3 teams have had to choose between raising capital and getting real operator support. rarely both, rarely from people who've actually done it.

we work hands-on with a small number of teams at a time, sharpening your tokenomics, narrative, and go-to-market while opening our network of partners, investors, and exchanges. strategy, capital, and connections, in one place.

Most Common Questions

No worries, here you can find all the answers

  • The Residency is built for Web3 founders with early traction who want hands-on operator support to reach a confident launch. It fits teams building in AI, DeFi, blockchain infrastructure, DePIN, AI agents, and Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems. You should have a product direction, a credible team, and real momentum you want to sharpen rather than a blank page to fill. Because the program stays close to a small number of teams at once, it suits founders who want senior operators working alongside them on the decisions that actually move their launch forward.
  • Both, depending on the area. Across token design, fundraising, exchange integration, and go-to-market, the Labs team works as your advisors: senior operators in the room with you, shaping strategy and stress-testing decisions. On marketing, the team also executes, running campaigns and content from ChainGPT-owned channels. So you get guidance where your own team is best placed to act, and done-for-you execution where the Labs network and reach create the most leverage. Every engagement is shaped around your project rather than a fixed template.
  • The Residency is a hands-on advisory engagement, not a cohort curriculum or a capital-first incubator. There are no generic modules to sit through and no single pathway every team follows. A small number of projects work directly with senior operators who apply their experience to your specific token, raise, and launch. The goal is to make your project self-sufficient: you leave with sharper strategy, stronger materials, and systems your team can run on its own, rather than a certificate or an ongoing dependency on outside help.
  • No. Token design is one part of the Residency, not a condition for joining. Teams that are pre-token, or still deciding whether a token fits their model, are welcome, and the advisory can help you make that call. If a token is part of your plan, the team designs and stress-tests the economy with you across bull, base, and bear conditions. If it is not, every other part of the program — fundraising, go-to-market, exchange integration, and marketing support — applies just the same.
  • You leave launch-ready, investor-ready, and self-sufficient. In practice that means a token model your project can defend, fundraising materials paired with warm introductions, a clear go-to-market plan, exchange and launch readiness, and marketing momentum from the Labs network. Just as valuable, you keep the systems and judgment to run these functions yourself after the Residency ends, so the progress holds well beyond the three months and your team is stronger for having built it alongside operators.
  • Yes. Alongside hands-on operator support, the Residency opens real capital pathways through ChainGPT Labs and ChainGPT Pad. Eligible teams can access a $100K call option from Labs and a fundraise of up to $300K through ChainGPT Pad. Both are subject to meeting certain requirements, and Labs reserves the right not to invest. Beyond direct capital, projects can also be connected to venture investors within the ChainGPT network through warm introductions. The program is built to make you genuinely fundable first, so the capital and the investor conversations land on the back of a sharper narrative and stronger materials.
  • The Residency runs for three months. That window is long enough to do real work across token design, fundraising, go-to-market, and launch readiness, while staying focused and intensive. Throughout the engagement the Labs team works alongside your founders in regular working sessions rather than occasional check-ins, so progress compounds week over week toward a launch-ready state instead of arriving in a single burst at the end.
  • The Residency is organized around six areas of support: general advisory on the decisions that shape your business, token design covering utility and treasury, exchange integration including listing strategy and market makers, go-to-market strategy, fundraising, and marketing support delivered by the Labs team. Each area is applied to your project directly. You can lean on every area or focus on the few where your team needs the most help, and the engagement is built around your priorities rather than a fixed syllabus.
  • Yes. Fundraising is one of the core areas of the Residency. The team helps you build an investor narrative, a deck, and the supporting blurbs that hold up in a room, then pairs them with warm introductions to funds and KOLs in the ChainGPT Labs network who back teams at your stage. Introductions are made when your materials are ready to carry the conversation, so you reach investors with a story and proof that land rather than a cold ask.
  • Yes. Exchange integration is a dedicated area of the Residency. The team advises on listing strategy, market maker selection, and the timing and mechanics around a launch, and opens introductions to exchanges and market makers in the Labs network. The aim is for you to reach your listing prepared, with the right partners and a clear plan, instead of improvising at the most important moment of your launch.
  • Both, and they are kept clearly separate. Go-to-market is delivered as strategy: the Labs team shapes the plan and your team executes it, since you are closest to your product and community. Marketing support is delivered as execution: the Labs team runs campaigns and content directly from ChainGPT-owned channels, putting the network's reach behind your launch. Drawing that line up front means you always know who is doing what, and exactly where the Labs team is building on your behalf.
  • The Residency is designed for teams with early traction moving toward launch, so you should have a product direction and some momentum, though you do not need to be live. The engagement is collaborative and hands-on, and the most value comes when founders join the working sessions and act on the work between them. Plan for meaningful founder involvement across the three months; this is a program you build with, not one you watch from a distance.
  • You can apply through the Apply for Residency button on this page. Because the team works with only a small number of projects at a time, places are limited and selective, which is what keeps the support genuinely hands-on. Applications are reviewed for fit across stage, team, and vertical, and strong candidates move into a conversation with the Labs team about what the three months would focus on for their project.
